👦👧 For Sri Lankan Buddhist children aged 7+ living overseas 🌍 — 📚 a weekly English Dhamma Program every Sunday, starting 6 December 2026, with two age-appropriate levels and two time-zone options to make participation easier for families worldwide. 🪷
📚🌱 A 7-YEAR DHAMMA CURRICULUM — A carefully structured 7-year program designed to grow with children’s age and understanding. By their teenage years, they will have developed a strong foundation in faith, virtue, loving-kindness, generosity, patience, concentration, and wisdom. 🌿
📘 Level 1 – Elementary: 2 years
📗 Level 2 – Pre-Teen: 5 years

What Will Children Learn?
📖✨Children will learn the teachings of the Buddha in English, following the Theravāda tradition, through age-appropriate stories, simple Suttas, Dhamma videos, quizzes, meditation, Paritta chanting, and Buddhist history. 🌿📚
📘 LEVEL 1 – Elementary | Ages 7–8 / Complete Beginners 👦👧
🌟 Focus on the Life Story of the Buddha and inspiring stories of great disciples, including Venerable Sāriputta and Venerable Mahāmoggallāna.
📗 LEVEL 2 – Pre-Teen | Ages 9–12+ 🧒👧
🌟 Focus on Jātaka Tales and other meaningful Buddhist stories, together with teachings that encourage children to understand and practice the Dhamma in their daily lives. 🌱
Why Isn't the Dhamma School Completely Free?
We understand that the cultural expectation among Sri Lankan Buddhists is that Dhamma education should be offered completely free of charge as a community service. 🪷We deeply respect and share this value.
However, providing a high-quality and sustainable Dhamma school requires ongoing resources—including Zoom, web hosting, high-speed internet, educational materials, infrastructure, outreach, and essential organizational and legal expenses.
We believe supporting Dhamma education is a shared responsibility 🤝. Your contribution is not simply paying for a class; it helps sustain a Dhamma service that benefits our children and future generations. 🌱
At the same time, we remain committed to keeping the Dhamma freely accessible to everyone. ❤️ Every Zoom class is livestreamed on YouTube completely free of charge, so no child is excluded because of financial circumstances.
