Offer Alms Annually for the Monks at Our Head Monastery
Celebrate a special moment in your life by offering alms to the Bhikkhus residing in Gothamachethiy Mangalagiri Buddhist Monastery, our Head Monastery in Wattegama, Kandy, Sri Lanka. Whether it’s your birthday, wedding anniversary, or another cherished occasion, this noble act brings blessings and spiritual fulfillment.
Our monastery is newly established, and most days are still available for alms offerings. This is a wonderful opportunity to choose a special day and support this sacred endeavor from its very beginning.
To sponsor annual alms, simply select an available day of the year from the table below and submit the completed form. You have the option to either bring alms adequate for 10 persons to the monastery or cover the cost of a day’s alms. The cost for a day’s alms offering is LKR 10,000 (approximately 35 USD).
